The Parade is a travelling theatre festival and pitches its colourful tents in Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and finally in Amsterdam. The Parade is a showcase for up-coming actors, comedians and magicians to perform for a public of mainly young people. The festival organisation supplies all the professional equipment such as the light and sound systems. Performances take place in small round tents. The audience stands in the middle and the actions revolve around them. Bring your pick nick basket and settle down for the day. Alternatively dine on the spot as there are several restaurants in the grounds offering world food. Bring the kids: every afternoon at 3.30 pm there are special performances for children.
