Best Amsterdam Street Markets

Amsterdam is full of surprises, and the markets are definitely one of them. Are you a lover of second hand books or are you a fashionista looking for vintage fashion? Amsterdam has it all. A floating flower market, retro fashion, and (fake) antiques: treasure hunting in Amsterdam has never been easier.

Some markets are held weekly, others monthly. Some are small and charming, others large and bustling.
Markets are a fun way to get to know the city. In this blog, you can read all about the most famous markets in Amsterdam and what you can buy there.

Flower Market

The Flower Market, located on the Singel canal between Muntplein and Koningsplein, is the only floating flower market in the world. Open daily, it’s primarily a tourist attraction. Flower bulbs, seeds, and souvenirs with a floral theme are for sale. The colourful displays make it a fun place to wander around.
